About Dr. Dover
Born and raised in Durango.
Trained at one of the best.
Dr. Hailee Dover grew up along the banks of the Animas River, in a home where gardens and nature were woven into everyday life. That foundation stayed with her through studies in Anthropology at Oklahoma State University and the University of Washington, and into her medical training at Bastyr University in Seattle, one of only five accredited naturopathic medical schools in the United States.
After earning her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 2016, she returned home to Durango to build her practice and raise her family. She founded Animas Natural Health with the belief that medicine should be approachable, thorough, and deeply personal. The body, given the right support, has a profound capacity to heal itself.
Dr. Dover has a particular passion for women's hormonal health and pelvic floor wellness, areas where patients are often underserved and undertreated by conventional medicine. She brings the same curiosity, compassion, and rigor to every patient she sees, from children to post-menopausal women.

Naturopathic medicine is guided by a principle older than modern pharmaceuticals: the body has an innate intelligence and an innate drive to heal. Dr. Dover's role is to remove obstacles, provide the right support, and create conditions where that healing can happen.

While naturopathic doctors in Colorado are not currently credentialed providers with insurance companies, Dr. Dover provides a detailed superbill after each visit. You can submit this directly to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement, and many patients receive meaningful coverage this way.
